Your worried pumpkin is made from PLA, a lightweight and durable material commonly used for detailed 3D printing. Each one is built a single layer at a time, which is exactly what gives the shell its ribbing and the face its clean carved edges.
Fine layer lines, small seams, or minor surface variations may be visible, and colors can look slightly different depending on your screen and lighting. Those are normal characteristics of 3D printing rather than defects — and because every piece is printed individually, yours has small variations that belong to it alone. PLA softens in high heat, so keep this one indoors and away from hot cars, heaters, and direct sunlight. He is already worried enough.
